Frequently
Asked Questions
Is Mexico safe to travel to?
Mexico is as
safe as any State or City in North America. If you act like a
guest while visiting Mexico and treat local people with respect
you will be treated like a guest, not only in their Country but
also in their homes. Simply put: Use good common sense while
visiting Mexico and don’t do things that you shouldn’t do in the
good ol’ USA.
Is a passport required for travel to
Mexico?
Yes. A valid
passport is required for travel between the
United States
and
Mexico.
What happens after I book a trip?
When a trip is
booked you will receive a written travel itinerary which also
serves as your invoice. Your itinerary will have all the details
of what is included and clearly state what is not included for
your review. Your itinerary will have a due date for a deposit
or final payment depending on your date of travel. Airline
tickets, travel vouchers for prepaid services, travel tips,
tackle recommendations and other important travel information is
mailed out to you once your trip has been paid in full and
finalized.
What form of payment do you accept?
We accept
personal checks or bank cashiers checks. We do not accept any
credit cards or other forms of payment.
Do I have to bring supply my own fishing tackle?
No. Fishing
tackle is always made available. It is either included or
available for rent.
Do I need to purchase a Mexican fishing license?
Yes. We suggest getting a Mexican fishing license and whenever
possible before traveling to
Mexico. If
you purchase a license in
Mexico we
suggest getting a receipt if you are not given the actual
license.

What happens to the fish I catch?
The fish that
you catch is yours. You are welcome to release or keep the fish.
The choice is yours. If you choose to keep your fish you may
have it filleted and prepared as a meal at your hotel (usually
for a small service fee) or frozen and taken with you when you
depart
Mexico.
How do I bring my fillets home?
You would need
a plastic or metal ice chest and your fish will need to be
frozen. The airlines will only accept fish that is frozen.
What are my baggage restrictions?
Baggage restrictions and free baggage allowance may vary from
airline to airline. We suggest checking the web site of the
airlines you are traveling on for specifics.
What happens if I have to cancel?
You may be
charged a minimum fee to cancel and you may forfeit the entire
amount paid on your trip. It really depends on when you have to
cancel in relationship to your planned departure date, if you
are able to reschedule or if you have a substitute. Our General
Terms and Conditions for travel along with a travel insurance
brochure will be mailed with your travel itinerary.
